First Baptist Church Of Piney Grove

Let me start off by telling you that if you ever find yourself on Oakland Park, just east of Rock Island, stop by the First Baptist Church of Piney Grove. I was hired to do the pictures for their website but it turned out to be more than that; it was truthfully a wonderful experience. Not only is it a beautiful church, but it houses one of the most inviting congregations I've ever met. They are definitely a pleasure to work with, and First Baptist folk definitely know how to praise the "Big Man."

Inauguration Day

History is made today! To those of us that voted, Obama wasn't the only winner, we won as well! The election was the win and in turn this years inauguration will be our awards ceremony. Let us support our President and pray that he will keep his word and make the decisions he promised the people; the kind of decisions that will improve this country, it's economy, and our foreign relations...

I did this particular one for an aspiring South Florida rapper that goes by the name of Lil' Bitt. We as a people have come so far. Our acceptance of the various cultures, lifestyles, and races of the world have come a long way since the days of Dr. Martin Luther King. Today, on the eve of our Presidents inauguration, we are but one day away from making history, not only for African Americans, but for minorities everywhere. Here, in the land of opportunity, I am proud the be American. Let us keep making positive progress and God willing with Obama in office, we can turn this economy around and keep the United States of America the amazing place it is today...
